This Shipping Policy describes the terms under which Plutodale Ventures Private Limited ("Qube", "we", "us", or "our") manages the dispatch, delivery, and logistics associated with the sale and rental of Qube smart meters and related hardware accessories. By placing an order for any Qube hardware, you acknowledge and agree to the shipping practices described in this Policy.

1. Scope and Applicability

This Policy applies to all hardware orders processed through Qube, whether purchased outright or provided under rental arrangements. It governs the packing, dispatch timelines, shipping methods, delivery expectations, and associated responsibilities for products shipped to customers within India. Qube does not currently offer international shipping unless expressly agreed upon through a separate written arrangement.

2. Order Processing and Dispatch Timelines

Orders placed for Qube hardware undergo internal verification, allocation of device serial numbers, quality assurance checks, and configuration specific to the customer's property requirements. Due to this technical preparation, order processing typically requires two to seven business days before the device is ready for dispatch. Orders may be delayed in cases of high demand, supply limitations, or additional customization requests.

Once the order has been processed, Qube will arrange dispatch through a suitable logistics partner. Customers may receive a dispatch confirmation along with available tracking details. Dispatch timelines may vary depending on the type of device ordered, inventory availability, and operational considerations.

3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Time

Qube utilizes reputable courier partners and logistics networks to deliver hardware safely and efficiently. The choice of courier service may vary based on destination, serviceability, and shipment size. Typical delivery timelines after dispatch range from three to ten business days, depending on the customer's geographic location within India.

While Qube aims to ensure timely delivery, unforeseen delays may occur due to factors such as courier disruptions, extreme weather conditions, transportation challenges, regulatory checks, or other circumstances beyond Qube's direct control. Qube shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or external factors.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges may vary based on the delivery location, type of hardware ordered, and current logistics tariffs. Shipping costs, if applicable, will be communicated to the customer at the time of order placement or included within the final invoice. Qube may also offer free shipping or subsidized rates under specific promotional or contractual conditions.

5. Delivery, Receipt, and Verification

Upon delivery, the customer or an authorized representative is responsible for inspecting the package for signs of visible damage, tampering, or irregularity. Any such concern should be reported immediately to the delivery personnel and noted on the delivery receipt, where possible.

After receiving the package, the customer must verify that all items listed in the invoice or packing slip have been included, that device serial numbers match the documentation, and that the hardware is not physically damaged. Concerns or discrepancies must be reported to Qube within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery. Failure to report issues within this period may limit Qube's ability to investigate or resolve claims.

6. Failed Delivery Attempts and Address Issues

If a courier partner is unable to deliver the shipment due to an incorrect address, unavailability of the recipient, or refusal to accept the package, the parcel may be returned to Qube or held at a courier facility. In such cases, customers may be charged additional fees for re-dispatch, delivery timelines may be extended, and Qube may require address confirmation before reshipping. Qube is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate address details provided during order placement.

7. Shipping for Returns or Replacements

If a product needs to be returned or replaced under an approved warranty claim or return authorization, Qube will provide instructions regarding packaging, courier pickup, or drop-off to designated locations. Depending on the nature of the issue, Qube may provide prepaid shipping arrangements, or the customer may be responsible for shipping the device back, particularly in cases where the issue is not covered under warranty or involves physical damage or tampering.

Devices returned without proper authorization or documentation may be rejected and sent back at the customer's cost, and Qube shall have no obligation to process such returns.

8. Risk of Loss

All hardware remains the property of Qube until delivered to the customer in the case of purchases, or throughout the rental period in the case of rentals. Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon successful delivery. Qube is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to the package after it has been delivered to the designated address.

9. Installation Scheduling After Delivery

For customers who have opted for installation services, Qube will coordinate installation scheduling after confirmation of successful delivery. Installation timelines may depend on availability of field staff, property access, and coordination with building management. Delays in customer readiness or access may result in rescheduling and additional service fees where applicable.

10. Shipping Restrictions

Qube may restrict shipping to certain remote regions where courier coverage is limited or inconsistent. Additionally, large bulk orders, custom hardware configurations, or specialized installations may require extended preparation time, alternative shipping arrangements, or prior written approval.

11. Modifications to This Policy

Qube reserves the right to modify or update this Shipping Policy at any time based on changes in logistics practices, operational needs, service availability, or compliance requirements. Updates will be published on our website, and continued use of Qube's Services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
